2007 Mercedes Benz S-Class AMG

Here are pictures of the AMG bodywork on the new 2007 Mercedes Benz S-Class. Among the cosmetic changes the AMG S-Class gets a new front airdam, side skirts, and rear bumper. It looks quite a bit more aggressive than the photos of the car spied in San Diego. Mercedes has gotten rid of the current 5.5L Supercharged V8 that put out close to 500 horsepower in favor of a 6.3L normally aspirated V8 which is just a hair over 505 horsepower. Rumors are abound about a possible addition of a supercharger to the new engine once the 7-speed automatic can handle the massive torque.

    This car will initially come with the present 5.5 liter supercharged AMG. Then in 2008 they will implant the 6.3 liter NA engine.
