Alias Cast Changes *Spoilers*

LOS ANGELES – Saturday morning, representatives from ABC, Buena Vista, and Bad Robot gathered to announce major cast changes on the set of the hit show ALIAS. Series creator J.J. Abrams made the formal announcement.

“We’re all very excited about the twists and turns in store for our viewers in ALIAS’ fifth season. The stories we’ve planned since the beginning are finally coming to fruition. However, with progress we’ve had to make some changes. I’m sorry to announce that series regulars Greg Grunberg and Michael Vartan will be leaving after three episodes this year. Fans shouldn’t worry, however, as their stories will be given full justice and their absences will be explained.”

“That’s not all, though. Rachel Nichols and Elodie Bouchez have joined the cast in important roles that we’re keeping the lid on right now.”

“Alias” stars Jennifer Garner as Sydney Bristow, Victor Garber as Jack Bristow, Ron Rifkin as Arvin Sloane, Michael Vartan as Michael Vaughn, Carl Lumbly as Marcus Dixon, Kevin Weisman as Marshall Flinkman, Rachel Nichols as Rachel Gibson and Elodie Bouchez as Renée Rienne.
