Google Rides & Gmail Upgrades
So Google announced today that they have a slick new service which allows users to find the location of taxis and shuttles in real time. The service is called Google Ride Finder and it’s worth a look. Although only a few large cities are supported at the moment, it shows a lot of promise.
Additionally, looks like GMail is upgrading to 2GB of storage for their users! They have a nice little javascript counter on their homepage which is slowly inching up to the desired mark.
Couple that with Google’s new mapping service and there is very little reason to go anywhere else on the internet.
